The Birchwood Roads and Streets Committee was created on June 12, 2012 and terminated on July 14, 2020. The Committee was created at the time control of Hall Ave. / Cedar St. was passed back to the City from Washington County. Committee members were instrumental in planning and executing maintenance of the City’s roads and streets in a resident focused manner. Many residents served as Committee Members over its lifetime and several City Council Members served as liaison. The last residents to serve on the Committee were: Gene Ruehle, John Anderson, Ben Creagh, Tom Patsy, Terry Granec and Mark Foster. The last City Council liaison to the Committee was Kevin Woolstencroft.Â
