About City Hall
City Hall is available for rental by all Birchwood residents for private events.
Birchwood City Hall offers a warm and inviting setting for gatherings of all kinds. The space accommodates up to 65 people and includes 65 chairs, 8 rectangular tables, and 2 round tables. Tables and chairs are available on-site and can be arranged to suit your event.
An updated kitchen and convenient serving area make it easy to host events, whether you’re preparing food on-site or setting up for catering. The facility also includes a restroom for guest use. Guests may use the City Hall parking lot during events.
Renters are responsible for setting up and taking down tables and chairs, and must leave the hall in the same condition it was found.
City Hall is a great fit for birthday parties, family gatherings, reunions, club meetings, small celebrations, and special events.
Regular Scheduled Uses
The following recurring events limit hall availability on certain days. Check the City Hall calendar on the homepage or call City Hall at 651-426-3403 for specific available dates.
- City Council Meetings — Second Tuesday of each month
- Parks and Natural Resources Committee – Third Tuesday of the month
- Planning Commission Meetings — Fourth Thursday of each month
- Artists Group — Monday mornings, 9:00 AM – Noon
How to Reserve
- Download the Rental Agreement below and complete it.
- Submit a single payment covering both the rental fee ($25 per hour or $75 for more than 3 hours) and the $100 damage deposit. Payment may be made by check payable to the City of Birchwood Village, or online.
- Drop off the completed agreement at City Hall during office hours (Tue & Thu, 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM), or use the drop box located near the lending library box outside City Hall. If paying by check, include your payment with the agreement.
- Your date is reserved upon receipt of payment.
