Planning Commission

Commissioners serve staggered 3-year terms and review planning and zoning matters for Birchwood.
Parks & Natural Resources Committee
๐ 3rd Tuesday of every month
Reinstated in February 2023, this committee works to maintain and enhance all public areas within Birchwood, including parks, beaches, walkways, and the Curt Feistner Preserve.
Birchwood Dock Association
The Birchwood Dock Association (BDA) is a local organization made up of Birchwood residents that manages the community docks, boat slip waiting list, and association memberships. All Birchwood residents may apply for BDA membership and join the boat slip waiting list, though membership is not required to access the docks. Residents should contact the BDA to apply for membership, inquire about placing a boat at one of the four docks, join the waiting list, or learn more about dock rules and requirements.
Birchwood Connections Committee
The purpose of the Birchwood Village Connections Committee is to advise the City Council on opportunities for residents to gather, including how to fund each activity.
