Tighe Schmitz Park Upgrades: 10am on May 31 at Warming House

In July 2024, the Washington Conservation District (WCD) presented an exciting overview of potential stormwater projects in Birchwood’s Tighe Schmitz Park. With the City Council’s support, funding efforts began for 3–5 targeted projects that aim to:
✅ Reduce local flooding
✅ Repair and improve outdated infrastructure
✅ Treat stormwater runoff to protect White Bear Lake and Hall’s Marsh

We’re thrilled to have been awarded several grants to help fund our projects.
